Team Umizoomi is a tiny team of superheroes who are the protagonists of the show of the same name. The team uses their Mighty Math Powers to help people across Umi City.

Members[]

• Milli: The first main character. She's the sweet and brave leader of the group. She's the strongest member in the group. Her main power is using her Pattern Power to fix patterns, but she also has the power to measure things with her expandable ponytails.
• Geo: The second main character. He is Milli'syoungerbrother and the fast go-getter of the team. He's the fastest member. His main power is using his Super Shapes to create any object that is needed using basic shapes.
• Bot: The third main character. He's the silly but smart robot of the group. He's the smartest member. He also has an Umi Alarm to let the team know when someone needs their help, and uses his Belly Screen to video call them and show the team useful information.
• UmiCar: He's the small and fast car that the team loves and cares for. He's the most reliable member.
• Umi-Friend: That's you! (The viewer) You help the team with your helping Mighty Math Powers.

Team Umizoomi may be tiny, but with theirMighty Math Powers, they can do anything!

Skills[]

Team Umizoomi has a lot of their own skills. While Umi-Friends (viewers) help Team Umizoomi save the day, they learn special skills that they can do to be superheroes like them. Those skills may also include math concepts that are more advanced for young children.

Math Skills[]

Each member has their own individual Mighty Math Powers. They can use them to save the day, and Umi-Friends can use the math skills at school. In Season 4, Team Umizoomi teaches a great Math Skill: Diameters, which is a skill that students learn while in third grade.

Special Skills[]

In some episodes, there are really unique skills that are only found in that specific episodes. We call them "Special Skills" (e.g. Buster the Lost Dog teaches Sign Identification).

World Skills[]

The "World Skills" are skills that involve the world around us. It teaches the viewers about places, how things work, and a few things that are a bit made up (usually taught during the How Does It Work? segment of each program).

Super Skills[]

There's a little secret to why Team Umizoomi can do anything with their Mighty Math Powers. They have something else that no one else has: "Super Skills." Super Skills are the social and emotional skills that can be found in some episodes. These skills are what make up real superheroes everyday.

Trivia[]

• Bot looks similar to (and could possibly even be based on) the Android logo.
• Milli and Geo are siblings, with Milli being two (2) years younger and a little bit taller than Geo.
• The show's artstyle is inspired by Korean culture, influencing aspects of the world such as the patterns on the character's clothes and on the buildings in Umi City. Additionally, the main characters have "simple black eyes, just like Koreans", according to show co-creator Soo Kim in an interview. ^[1] Because of this, Milli and Geo could possibly be of Korean descent.
• The team was originally named The Umizumiz in the pilot and had two (2) additional members, ZigZag and Alphonse. The pilot is currently lost media.
