Amarillo Residential Internet Coverage
Located in northern Texas and holding the record for being the 14th largest community in the state, Amarillo offers its residents DSL, cable and wired internet services to most of its residents.
AT&T offers most Amarillo residential areas with Home DSL services. Boasting of download speeds as high as 18 Mbps, AT&T extends as far north as Bishop Hills and as far south as Patisades. However, certain residents within both Bishop Hills and Lake Tanglewood may not receive these DSL services and may only get fixed wireless internet.
Alternatively, residents located in central Amarillo looking for higher internet speeds have access to SuddenLink cable television. Residents living east of Westgate Mall, south of Tascosa Country Club, north of John S. Stiff Memorial Park and west of Airport Blvd receive the most accessibility to cable. Certain residents may also have access to AMA TechTel Communications cable television.
Finally, residents living in northwestern Bishop Hills residential areas and southern Lake Tanglewood have access to fixed wireless, which has the lowest advertised download speeds.

Most solid internet provider in our area. Anytime there's an issue, it's wonderful that we have tech support right here in town. Can't recommend them enough.

we were having trouble and it took three weeks to get full service back for our internet and landline . Were we surprised when they charged us seventy five dollars for the tech to walk in, unplug the modem and plug it back in.. What? Two minutes? I could've done it over the phone What a rip off. If I would've known it would cost me so much, I wouldn't have let him come in!! We've been customers for years but lately we're looking into other options!

Although service techs and folks on the phone in Tyler did a commendable job, Suddenlink internet speeds vary from being dropped to the contract purchase rate. My experience has been the best speeds may be had when folks are in church on sunday. Peak gaming, football, etc. demands seem to overwhelm their OVERSOLD capacity. I am not happy after upgrading components as per their recommendations. Want to buy a SB6183?Run away from these guys.
